Seasonal, intimate, and quietly refined — limited to four guests per day.
Between the temples and the stories of Nara, there is space for something quieter.
Orangery Kitchen offers a private culinary moment — a refined pause within your travels.
Craft, cook, and savor your own refined Japanese lunch
before / after exploring Nara.
Within the Western-inspired house, the interior brings together European antiques and traditional Japanese furnishings, creating a quiet dialogue between cultures.
Set within a former citrus orchard, the garden is now being gently shaped — while preserving the citrus trees — into a space that lives with the rhythms of nature.
In winter, you may pick citrus from the trees. In other seasons, you will notice subtle changes — blossoms, shifting light, and fragrance carried on the air. It is not a perfect garden yet — it is a living one.
On fine days, guests can enjoy dining in the garden.
Orangery Kitchen is operated by KENDON Co., Ltd., a Japanese company based in Osaka.
