Explore the fundamentals of SUSHI making at home for simple and delicious Sushi-Plate to impress your guest.

 

In our kitchen, everyone will don an apron, equipped with Sushi-tools, as we talk through the day's menu.

We will explain and demonstrate the classic yet simple techniques, starting with how to cook rice and turn into perfect Sushi-Rice, preparing Sushi ingredients such as Japanese Rolled Omelette 'TMAGOYAKI' and seasonal 'NETA', we will also show you how to make an incredibly versatile Japanese broth called DASHI, which serves as base for many components of Japanese cooking - soups, sauces and seasoning. We will show you how to shave dried-bonito to clear soup that goes well with your Sushi dish.

 

And then, everyone will get to work on rolling 'MAKI' and shaping 'NIGIRI' Sushi in the hands-on cooking class.

 

Once the cooking is complete, guests can chose either our dining room or the garden table to enjoy your sushi-plate with a choice of Japanese Sake and tea.

Tempura and Udon Japanese Noodle(3h)

Explore the fundamentals of Crispy Tempura and Chewy Udon making from scratch at home.

 

In our kitchen, everyone will don an apron, equipped with the cutting board, as we talk through the day's menu.

We will explain and demonstrate the classic yet simple techniques, starting with how to mix and knead flours into chewy home-made Udon noodle, and one of the most popular Japanese dish Tempura making with seafood and vegetables.

We will also show you how to make an incredibly versatile Japanese broth called DASHI, which serves as base for many components of Japanese cooking - soups, sauces and seasoning. We will make perfect sauce 'Tare' from Dash for both Tempura and Udon. 

 

And then, everyone will get to work on kneading and cutting Udon in the hands-on cooking class.

 

Once the cooking is complete, guests can chose either our dining room or the garden table to enjoy your sushi-plate with a choice of Japanese Sake and tea.

Explore the fundamentals of home style Okonomiyaki grilling.

Okonomiyaki is known as one of  Osaka Soul Food or Japanese Pizza.

It's a savory Japanese Pancake with cabbage, flour, egg, and various toppings like meat, seafood or whatever you like to top!

 

In our kitchen, everyone will don an apron, equipped with the cutting board, as we talk through the day's menu.

We will explain and demonstrate the classic yet simple techniques, starting with how to cut cabbages, mixing the ingredients, and how to grill on the pan. 

We will also show you how to make an incredibly versatile Japanese broth called DASHI, which serves as base for many components of Japanese cooking - soups, sauces and seasoning. We will make Miso Soup to match Okonomiyaki plate.

 

In this class, everyone will try to cutting , mixing and grilling.

 

Once the cooking is complete, guests can chose either our dining room or the garden table to enjoy your sushi-plate with a choice of Japanese Sake and tea.
